TOSING OJURI With a career spanning the last decade, Tosing Ojuri’s music and lyrics have become a melody stuck in every head. His musical sojourn started during his high school days where he mimed to and sang a number of popular hit songs to the admiration of his colleagues. He then moved on to hone his musical abilities as an undergraduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he carved a niche for himself as a first class music act. His insatiable desire and knack for writing and composing songs is evidenced by his original song Library of over a hundred songs and about 30 recorded tracks. He has also collaborated with an array of artistes both home and abroad including Lisa Waites (Canada) DJ Clem of Knight House, Nikky Laoye (Nigeria) and Rooftop MCs (Nigeria). Above all, Tosing is well grounded Christian who sees his music as a powerful tool for building and inspiring his generation. His dynamic style has seen him fuse in elements of R n B, pop, rock, rap and even highlife (as in the case of his latest single “Iyawo”) into his music. Tosing presently has 2 EPs (extended plays) to his credit alongside a video to his hit single 'My Rock' which has being aired on several TV channels across Nigeria and is available for download across various internet platforms.
