Naija Bloggers Meet-up (NBM) is an event and a platform for emerging and indigenous bloggers, online news reporter and intended bloggers. This event is open to all bloggers as it craves to give us an identity and a front for unification and networking. It also gives us an avenue to mingle, socialize and synchronize our contents and reach as well as have fun in a relaxed and friendly environment. With more focus on revamping the “blogging/online reporting world”, #NBM has been organised to help bloggers network, promote their brands and increase business. #NBM through the event and other mediums is set to create awareness about the quality of writers, young journalist and news enthusiast we have as a nation as well as make Nigerians begin to appreciate and respect an average blogger as he or she tries to contribute to national growth through quality reportage of events.
By getting Online News Reporters and bloggers to socialize, we aim to create an avenue for friendship, healthy competition, networking and having a unified front when the need for it arises.
NBM is the starting point. “THE BLOGGERS’ FORUM” which comes up next year will bring established bloggers, music business moguls and some respected personalities in our community to share their experience and help build a sustainable ‘blogger space’ for the average Nigerian Blogger.
This event is initiated and organized by 9jaupdates and Pmonkz and is scheduled to hold December 8th at the Prestigious Movida Lounge,Toyin Street, by Allen Round About, Ikeja.
