Chooxy (Okuedei Chukuka Davies III) was born on 9 March 1992 in Ughelli Delta State Nigeria. Drawn from Nigeria seemingly inexhaustible wellspring of young and Talented acts, Chooxy is one of the few who can boast of real star quality and staying power.
He spent his childhood days in delta state where he was a member of his local church teenage choir which was inspired by his mum( Mrs Okuedei Edith) who was a member of d church's Adult choir. He's the 3rd boy and d fourth child of a family of 5.
Chooxy who is a student of political science in the University of Benin (Uniben) is a graduate of diploma in law at Delta State University(Delsu).
At age 16 Chooxy on his own moved 2lagos and started off modeling under laparias modeling agency and later on got a modeling contract with modela modeling agency. In 2009 he got involved with various talent shows like mtn project fame and naija sings. Although he didn't get to the finals of these competitions the young lad didn't take it as a sign of defeat but a reason to keep pushing.
He went ahead to record his first song under producer extraordinary EX-O (cash_In records). Later on he followed up by making a remake of rihannas 'What's my name' ft drake this gave him a lot of street credit n online recognition as rihanna kept on retweeting d song suggesting people to Download the song.

In the year 2011 chooxy dropped anoda single titled 'Fall In Love' which was also produced by EX-O(Cash_In Records). He went further to work with producers like T.K, OteeBeats, TwinsAffair and a host of others. He has worked with artistes like Le'mmon, Skales, Rae'em, Twins affair, Emmssong e.t.c.
His style is RnB/pop, Afro/pop mixing it up in ways that wud give heavenly angels a run for their money. Chooxys only interest isn't singing as the young lad is a model, dancer, and actor.
Indeed, after the release of his first two songs('what's my name' rihanna cover and fall in love), there seemed to be a danger that he would become better known as a face rather than a musical talent.
