From the giant sized customized Gulder boat, to the smart-card invite, the ariel dancers, magicians and roving DJ set, it was clear that Gulder Club Ultimate, which debuted in Port Harcourt last weekend, was a party like no other.
The first-of-its-kind club event held at the Aztech Arcum, in Port Harcourt on Friday, July 26, featuring an unpredictable line up of music, dance and magic.
'We wanted the whole night to be full of surprises', says Gulder Brand manager Onyeka Okoli. 'We wanted you to come to Club Ultimate not knowing what to expect. And we're delighted we achieved just that. You could see the surprise on guests faces, all through the night. That's what happens when you come to Club Ultimate.'
With a special Gulder tunnel that led into the red carpet area, and a giant size Gulder boat for effect, guests arrived the venue assured they were in for a thrill.
The Aztech Arcum was transformed into a VIP club, with a 3D stage and elevated DJ area, and open bar courtesy of Gulder.
Over 2000 fans partied all night, dancing to mixes from DJ Humility from Lagos and DJ Kelvin from Port Harcourt.
Other performances came from US-based Grounded Aerial Dancers, Jazz band, Zeeto and Nike Peller who worked amazing magic stunts, and Denrele Edun who was the soul of the night.
'There's been nothing like this. Absolutely nothing to compare with. And Gulder is happy to bring another innovation, for the satisfaction of our consumers, said Brand manager Onyeka Okoli.
Celeb guests including Yibo Koko, Tee A, Daniel D'Humorous, Beverly Naya, Kunle Afolayan, Tonye Ibiama, Omalicha, LD of Rhythm, Frand D'Nero, Mr. 2kay, DJ Zeez and Tunde Ednut all testified to the uniqueness of the Club Ultimate experience, with many joining Denrele and DJ Humility to engage with fans.
Humility, a celebrated DJ with Rhythm 93.7 FM in Lagos brought out his A game, taking guests through different generation and genres of music, with support from his hype man, and an elevated roving set.
And Denrele, the Channel O VJ and Red Carpet star, went beyond limits to show PH City how to party.
Humility, and Denrele excited guests and brought the roof down. But it was the magician Zito, and his sister Nike, both children of the late Professor Peller, that caused adrenalin to rush.
The crowd had not yet finished grasping the Pellers' stunts when the ariel dancers took over, executing a routine reminiscent of Cirque Du Soleil.
'This is amazing. Actually too much for one night' exclaimed one guest, as she joined Denrele to dance on stage.
'It's the ultimate clujb experience, something every city will look forward to. Something fresh and cool, to add some spice to how we party', concludes Okoli, who revealed that Lagos is the next stop for the 'club party of the year'.
