The Governor of Anambra State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has said security has significantly improved in the state following the dismantling of more than 60 criminal camps in recent security operations.
According to the governor, the crackdown on criminal hideouts is part of the state government’s broader efforts to restore peace and strengthen security across communities.

Soludo stated that joint security operations involving local vigilantes and security agencies have led to the discovery and destruction of numerous camps allegedly used by criminal groups.
He noted that the operations targeted areas identified as hideouts for armed groups and criminal activities.
