The Etsu of Kwali has commended President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for the delivery of the Gomani-Dafa-Yangoji road project, describing it as a major boost to infrastructure and community development.

The traditional ruler praised the government’s commitment to improving road networks, noting that the newly completed road will enhance transportation, strengthen connectivity, and improve the daily lives of residents in the affected communities.

According to the monarch, the project will make it easier for people to travel between communities, facilitate the movement of agricultural produce and goods, and stimulate economic activities by improving access to markets and essential public services.

He also acknowledged the collaboration between the Federal Government and the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), stating that the successful execution of the road demonstrates a shared commitment to sustainable infrastructure development and grassroots progress.

Community leaders and residents have welcomed the project, expressing optimism that the improved road network will reduce travel time, lower transportation costs, and encourage further investment in the area.

The Gomani-Dafa-Yangoji road is expected to serve as an important transportation corridor, supporting social and economic development while improving access to healthcare, education, and commercial centres for surrounding communities.

The Etsu Kwali urged the government to sustain its investment in infrastructure, emphasizing that continued road development would contribute significantly to improving living standards and accelerating development across rural communities in the Federal Capital Territory.
