The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced that its Post-UTME screening exercise will commence on July 27, urging prospective students to prepare adequately and comply with all examination guidelines.
In a statement issued by the university, management reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy on examination malpractice, warning candidates against any form of cheating, impersonation, or other fraudulent practices during the screening exercise.
UNILAG stressed that any applicant found engaging in examination misconduct will face strict disciplinary measures, including disqualification from the admission process and other sanctions in accordance with the institution’s regulations.
The university noted that the Post-UTME screening remains an important stage of its admission process, serving as an additional assessment to determine the suitability of candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate programmes.
Candidates have been advised to carefully follow all instructions provided by the university, arrive at their designated examination centres on time, and ensure they possess the required documents for accreditation.
UNILAG also encouraged applicants to obtain updates exclusively from its official communication channels, warning them to disregard misinformation or unofficial announcements circulating on social media.
The institution reiterated its commitment to conducting a transparent, fair, and credible screening exercise while maintaining the integrity of its admission process.
