The Oyo State Government has expanded its security capabilities with the acquisition of two surveillance aircraft aimed at improving intelligence gathering and strengthening law enforcement operations across the state.

State officials formally received the aircraft, describing the acquisition as a major investment in modern security infrastructure. The surveillance planes are expected to enhance aerial monitoring, support intelligence-led operations, and improve the response of security agencies to emerging threats.

According to the government, the aircraft will provide real-time aerial surveillance of critical locations, assist in monitoring areas vulnerable to criminal activities, and support coordinated operations involving security agencies across Oyo State.
