The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Party (ADP), Abbas, has pledged to deliver a “New Nigeria” if elected in the 2027 general elections, outlining a vision centered on national renewal, inclusive governance, and sustainable development.

Speaking on his campaign agenda, Abbas said his administration would prioritize policies aimed at improving the country’s socio-economic conditions, restoring public confidence in government, and promoting national unity.

He identified poverty, unemployment, insecurity, and weak public institutions among the major challenges confronting Nigeria, stressing that addressing these issues would require transparent leadership, prudent resource management, and effective policy implementation.

According to the ADP candidate, his vision for a “New Nigeria” includes creating greater economic opportunities, strengthening accountability in public service, and ensuring that development reaches communities across all regions of the country.

Abbas also emphasized the importance of youth participation in governance, encouraging young Nigerians to become actively involved in the political process and contribute to shaping the nation’s future.

He maintained that his campaign offers Nigerians an alternative leadership option founded on transparency, integrity, and responsible governance, promising to pursue reforms that would improve public services and stimulate economic growth.

As political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 elections, Abbas said his campaign would continue engaging citizens nationwide to present the ADP’s vision for national development and democratic progress.

The presidential hopeful concluded by expressing confidence that Nigerians are ready for a new direction focused on accountability, inclusiveness, and long-term prosperity.
