Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Bukola Olopade, has challenged the Super Falcons to qualify for the next FIFA Women’s World Cup, stressing that the team must deliver results without excuses.

Olopade said the Super Falcons have a proud history of success in African women’s football and should maintain the high standards that have made Nigeria a dominant force on the continent. He emphasized that qualifying for the World Cup is a national expectation and urged the players and coaching staff to approach the campaign with determination and professionalism.

The NSC chairman reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to providing the necessary support for the team throughout the qualification process. However, he maintained that the responsibility ultimately rests with the players and technical crew to perform and secure Nigeria’s place at the global tournament.

He expressed confidence in the squad’s ability to meet the challenge, encouraging the team to remain focused and united as they prepare for the qualifiers.

With preparations underway, the Super Falcons will be aiming to continue Nigeria’s tradition of strong performances on the international stage by booking another appearance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
