Manchester United have agreed to send goalkeeper André Onana back to Turkish club Trabzonspor on loan for another spell, continuing his development outside the Premier League.

The Cameroonian shot-stopper, who previously spent time with Trabzonspor, will return to the club in search of regular first-team football. The move is aimed at ensuring consistent playing time, which Manchester United believe is important for his continued growth and match sharpness.

The loan arrangement reflects Manchester United’s ongoing squad management strategy, allowing players to gain experience in competitive environments while maintaining their long-term role within the club’s plans.

Trabzonspor are expected to benefit from Onana’s experience and shot-stopping ability as they strengthen their squad for domestic and potential European competitions. The Turkish side previously welcomed the goalkeeper during an earlier loan spell, where he gained valuable game time.

At present, no changes have been announced regarding Onana’s long-term contract with Manchester United, and the loan deal is viewed as a temporary step in his career pathway.

Both clubs are expected to finalize formalities before the deal is fully completed and the player rejoins the Turkish outfit.
