Trabzonspor have filed an official complaint with FIFA over a transfer dispute involving Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu and Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli.

The Turkish club has asked world football’s governing body to investigate what it describes as irregularities in the transfer process. Trabzonspor alleges that certain contractual obligations and agreed procedures were not properly followed during negotiations involving the Nigerian forward.

By referring the matter to FIFA, Trabzonspor is seeking a formal review of the circumstances surrounding the transfer in accordance with international football regulations. The club maintains that its interests should be protected and that all parties involved should comply with FIFA’s transfer rules.

FIFA is expected to examine submissions from both Trabzonspor and Al Ahli before determining whether any regulations were breached. The governing body may request additional documentation and evidence as part of its review.

Neither club has publicly disclosed the specific contractual issues at the center of the dispute, and no decision has yet been reached by FIFA. The outcome of the case could have implications for future transfer dealings involving the parties.

Paul Onuachu, a Nigerian international, remains at the centre of the dispute as football authorities work to clarify the circumstances surrounding the transfer.
