Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has appealed to leading entertainers, including Burna Boy, Davido, and other influential public figures, to support vulnerable and underprivileged Nigerians through charitable and community-focused initiatives.

Speaking on the importance of collective responsibility, the First Lady emphasized that celebrities possess the influence, reach, and resources to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing economic hardship. She encouraged them to use their platforms to promote compassion and contribute to efforts aimed at improving the welfare of disadvantaged communities.

Oluremi Tinubu noted that partnerships between public figures, private individuals, and government institutions can help expand access to humanitarian assistance, education, healthcare, and other social development programmes. She stressed that addressing poverty requires the active participation of all sectors of society.

The appeal forms part of a broader call for national unity and shared responsibility in tackling Nigeria’s social and economic challenges. By supporting charitable causes and community development projects, the First Lady said, celebrities can inspire others to contribute toward building a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Her remarks underscore the growing expectation that influential personalities use their visibility not only for entertainment but also to drive positive social impact and improve the lives of vulnerable Nigerians.
